Federal Housing Authority
In the last one year, the FHA has continued with its major project embarked upon in Zuba Housing Estate comprising of about 724 housing units of low/medium income mass housing which is about 95% completion level including infrastructure. Also about 2,000 housing
units is ongoing at Guzape Abuja through Public Private Partnership while arrangements are ongoing to commence various new units at Kabusu, Bwari and Kwali.

The authority is also currently carrying out direct development of 330 units of various house types with complementary infrastructure in six states across the country namely: Awka, Gombe, Makurdi and Osogbo, among others.
Family Homes Funds Limited
In its effort to create jobs and deliver on its mandate, Family Homes Funds Limited made a commendation mark in actualizing the National Social Housing Programme under the Economic Sustainability Plan to change the phase of housing sector especially for the low income group. The agency was able to fund and completed 1,000 homes in Borno state for
displaced families, Outside this, the agency commenced about 4,200 homes in seven states and completed over 2,500 units in the last one year.
This was apart from the giant strides of achieving issuance of N10b Sukkuk funding for housing development.

Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria, FMBN
FMBN recorded remarkable achievement within the last one year and there was massive education about its activities which culminated in increased housing stock from 20,435 to 29,975 between 2017 and 2021 with an increase of 85% in housing loans disbursement and 92% in NHF collections. All these contributed to the totality of housing units developed in the last twelve months.

There are also pockets of 100 or 200 units development by some private developers and mostof these developments which are targeted at high income end and few medium income group are mostly located in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt and few state capitals.
A cursory assumption of the totality of housing units developed within the last one year, is estimated to be less 100,000 units (though there is no empirical data to back this up) as against year 2012 projected700,000 annual housing units production to close up the deficit.
