Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Water Board has announced that water supply to some parts of the territory will be disrupted to enable officials of the water board and CGC handling the extension work on Nnamdi Azikiwe Expressway, by Apo, to connect water from the existing line to the newly laid pipeline.

Viewpoint Housing News gathered that residents of Apo, Durumi, Galadimawa, Gudu and its environs will experience disruption in water supply from 14 August, 2019.

Chief Press Secretary to FCT Administration Mr Anthony Ogunleye however assured that normal water supply will be restored to these areas on August 19, after the connection works.

“Consequently, residents of the affected areas are advised to store enough water that will last through the period of disruption in water supply.

“The board also expressed its apologies to residents of the affected areas for any inconveniences that may be experienced as a result of the disruption,” Ogunleye stated.
