During the course of the unveiling of the school, Sanwo-Olu pointed that over two and half years ago, his administration expressed its willingness to improve the education sector and the desire to ensure that every child in the state has unrestricted access to qualitative education.

While commending traditional ruler, Oba Tajudeen Elemoro, for making the construction of the school possible, through provision of 1.54 hectares of land for the school, Sanwo-Olu also appreciated students, parents and members of the Elemoro community for exercising patience and perseverance, while keeping faith with the promises made by his administration to construct a community school, the first of its kind in the area.

Sanwo-Olu added that plans were in progress to reduce cost of property development and enhance quality in housing development through the building of competence for local artisans and craftsmen.
