The Realtors Prestige Club (R-GROUP) have paid a courtesy visit to NIESV President, ESV Victor Alonge, PNIVS.
The courtesy visit, which was paid on Wednesday September 11, was to congratulate the NIESV President on his assumption of office. During the engaging discussion, the President shared his vision for restructuring the Institution to enhance its efficiency and effectiveness.
He emphasized the importance of strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, highlighting upcoming initiatives, including a second to none Conference for our members.
The President also stressed that valuation is an economic matter, not just science and the institution has been sensitizing some agencies of government visited recently and he urged for more targeted efforts to communicate this to relevant bodies vis-a-viz the key expertise of an Estate Surveyors in this.
“Our goal is to ensure that courtesy visits lead to tangible results,” Mr. President stated. He also underscored the need for objective job placements within NIESV, emphasizing the importance of structures that promote growth and penetration.
As we look forward, the President called for a positive and strategic use of pressure groups within the Institution and advocated for a grading system driven by capacity to better encourage and support our members. “If we are to move forward, restructuring is essential to achieve different result,” he concluded.
