“Many people believe that the state Housing Corporation starts and ends at the headquarters. We want you to help us create awareness that we have estates in Ibadan, Ajoda, Owode, Olubadan and Bashorun.
“We are an organisation, building social housing and creating plots of land for the downtrodden in the society.
“We are rebuilding what can be described dilapidated houses. These buildings cannot be qualified as standard buildings because they lack necessary amenities such as sewage disposal system, water, open space and electricity in the building.
“We want to encourage younger ones to move out and live in more decent houses than the ones built by our fathers.”
Lawal expressed displeasure at the expensive nature of private properties in the state and urged residents to approach the corporation to mitigate the challenges.
