The President of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) ESV Victor Alonge, alongside other leaders of professional bodies in the Country (ICAN, NIM, NSE, ANAN, NIS, NIA, NIOB, NIQS, CIBN, NITP, CITN, NMA, ICSAN, etc) gathered in Abuja, on 14th October 2024, for the 2024 Annual Professionals’ Summit organized by the Association of Professional Bodies of Nigeria (APBN).
This year’s theme, “Navigating Economic Uncertainties and Opportunities: The Place of the Professionals,” is more relevant than ever as the leaders strive to support the government in these challenging times.
Key discussions focused on the pressing issues of inflation, economic instability, and infrastructural deficits. A Significant part of the conversation emphasized the importance of local content encouragement and the critical role of professionals in guiding policy direction and promoting local content to foster sustainable growth.
