National Housing Fund: FCTA Urges Workers To Update Information

Workers in the employment of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), and the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), both serving and retired have been urged to avail themselves by the window provided by the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), to confirm, update and register online with the National Housing Fund (NHF), in order to access their benefits and check their balances with the organization.

A statement from the Director, Information and Communication, FCT, Muhammad Hazat Sule, stated that the process is to ensure a seemless refund of the contributions to the retirees and checking of contribution balances of staff, who are still in the service.

The statement, therefore, enjoined the staff to follow logical steps by first,confirming their NHF account number with the Task-Force, Collect the online link from their respective salary desk officers anduse FCT IPPIS number as staff identification for those in IPPIS regime, while those who retired before the commencement of IPPIS can use staff Personal File Number.

Other procedures stipulated include, provision of an active email for correspondences as SMS Alert is no longer sustainable.

The Director, thus, appealed to the affected persons to present themselves for this purpose so as to enjoy a hitch-free retirement, and as well be sure of their status.
