Governor of Borno state, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum yesterday at the official commissioning of one hundred houses in the state applauded the efforts of the federal government for putting in place such to support the state housing development.
Governor Zulum spoke in Gwoza during the commissioning of the houses built by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and facilitated by Senator Ali Ndume, representing Borno south.
Represented by his Deputy, Umar Usman Kadafur, Prof Zulum commended the lawmaker for his excellent representation as well as the federal government for its concern to the people of Borno state.
Zulum expressed optimism that the houses would enhance the already development drive in the state.
In her remarks, the Senior Special Assistant to the president on SDGs Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefuilire thanked Gwoza people for the rousing welcome accorded them and urged the beneficiaries to make good use of the houses.
