The Managing Director of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Madu Hamman yesterday revealed that the bank is willing to deepen collaboration with the Borno State Government, aimed at providing its citizens with decent, quality, and affordable housing.
Hamman stated this while hosting delegates headed by the state Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum bank’s head office in Abuja, the Nigerian capital.

The FMBN boss while admitting that bank exists to provide affordable housing for Nigerians who contribute to the National Housing Fund (NHF) Scheme, he added that the new Management is committed to advancing collaborations with the Borno State Government.
“Where the last management left, we will take over from there and continue the engagement towards actualizing your Excellency’s desire to provide affordable houses for the citizens and workers of Borno state,” he said.

Zulum also added that the state has over 1,200 housing units built for the Internally Displaced Persons in the state.
