Abuja Centenary City on Tuesday launched sales for its 86-unit housing project called the Grove. A unit of the Grove is from N75 million.
The launch which drew numerous stakeholders was described as a huge success.
The Executive Director of the Range, a Dubai-based real estate firm with stakes in Centenary City, Mr Jamal Shergill told Viewpoint Housing News, “We’ve officially launched sales today”.
According to him, many people are interested in Centenary City.
“The response has been overwhelming. We had more than 3.5 million impressions on our website.
“The number of the impressions on our website were higher than some of the largest e-commerce sites in Nigeria today.
“Today is when people of Centenary City started sending cheques and transfers into our bank account,” Shergill stated.
According him, it is not only Abuja but people across Nigeria and the Diaspora that participated.
On the size of the project, he said, “We’re only releasing 86 units at the moment and currently most of the units have been reserved.”
The Grove is the first co-development opportunity offered in the Centenary City.
Shergill explained, “We’re not very large developers so this is for our medium size segment.
“Centenary City isn’t an elitists city. We’re here for everybody.
“We have Buhari Towers for the common man. We’ve got the Grove for co-development. And then we also have other premium products that we’ll continue to launch.
“The Grove…we provide the infrastructure and the entire service plot along with the design and the floor plans of the structure and we allow our co-developer to build the structure themselves at their own cost which reduces the eventual price for them and leaves them with the ability to be part of Centenary City.”
