– The Director-General of Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR), Dr. Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi recently laid emphasis on core values, needs and purpose of Self-Assessment Tools (SAT) in all federal establishments in the country.
He revealed this while presenting a report gotten from an assignment the Bureau was tasked with by the Nigerian government to find lasting solutions on improving the work output of civil servants in the country.
In November 2019 and February 2021 respectively, the federal government tasked the BPSR to facilitate the deployment of the Self-Assessment Tool (SAT) in all federal Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and submit the report to the Office of the Secretary of the Government of the Federation.
And in view of this, the Bureau deployed the Tool in Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) in 2022 for the Self-Assessment exercise. The report was officially presented to the Director – General of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) on Wednesday in Abuja.
