A group of armed Bandits have abducted Aondo Ver, a staff of the Federal Housing Authority mortgage in the Federal Capital Territory, from his residence, this happened on Thursday morning, during an ambush around 200 metres from a military base in Pambara in the Bwari Area Council of Abuja, The kidnappers were said to have gained access through the fence after cutting the barb wires.
Mr Aondo’s abduction followed an intense shooting spree that caused fear in the vicinity, the bandits later fled into the nearby bushes with him.
Nearby residents disclosed that, military men were positioned at a military base often referred to as the “camp,” situated around 200 metres from the director’s abduction site in Pambara Extension.
They also mentioned that citizens, including active and retired military personnel resided in the region where bandits had assaulted.
The military camp and the area of Pambara Extension where Mr. Ver was abducted are about 200 metres apart. However, the victim and the kidnappers managed to get away through the bush.
