At least five persons have been confirmed dead as an uncompleted building has collapsed in Aba, Abia state.
Misfortune hit early this Wednesday morning, after a heavy rainfall on Tuesday as a three storey building undergoing construction on the Azikiwe road in Abia state, collapsed.
Details about the mishap is still not clear but we were able to gather that one person, who was rescued from the rumble, is currently receiving treatment in an anonymous hospital.
It was gathered the deceased and survivor were homeless residents that normally take refuge in the building that was still undergoing construction.
According to a source one of the workers who witnessed it said that he was outside when it happened and at least five of his colleagues were in the building, and that the said building was poorly erected with inferior supplies.
