A Posthumous Induction For The Late Founder of Imani & Sons Limited

The founder of Imani & Sons Limited, Late Alhaji Abubakar is to be posthumously inducted into the AFRICA AFFORDABLE HOUSING HALL OF FAME, in an event organized by the Africa Housing Awards, in collaboration with Housing Development Programme.

This year’s event is scheduled to take place on the 15th of December.

The affordable housing hall of fame which has its aim as a platform in showcasing and immortalizing those who stood for affordable housing provision, is organized with focus on celebrating many who have contributed greatly to affordable housing delivery in Africa.

This is to encourage more persons, either as a president, minister or state governor to do more in affordable housing delivery.

Some of the personalities who were inducted posthumously last year include the late Lateef Jakande, former Executive Governor of Lagos State, late Engr. S.O Fadahunsi CON, late Sir Fortune Ebie. Also, among living legends inducted during last year’s event were the late Prof Akin Mabogunje (prior to his death) and Mallam Aliyu Ibrahim.
