5th REDAN President’s Investiture Holding In Lagos, Nigeria

In Febuary 2024, Barr. Akintoye Adeoye assumed his role as President of the Real Estate Developers Association Of Nigeria, (REDAN).

Today, the 23rd of May, 2024, Barr. Akintoye played host to an array of remarkable dignitaries in honour of the 5th REDAN President’s Investiture Ceremony holding in Lagos, Nigeria.

On our stand this week, we take a look at an Outstanding Leader, in the Person of Barr. Akintoye Adeoye.

Akintoye studied law at Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, where he obtained both his first and second law degrees (LL.B. and LL.M.).

After completing the Nigerian Law School in Victoria Island, Lagos, he was admitted to the Supreme Court of Nigeria as a solicitor and advocate.

Additionally, Akintoye holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from LIFE Seminary, affiliated with the University of Ibadan.

He was the General Secretary of REDAN and the former Vice President of the REDAN, (South West) Chapter.

In February 2020, Barr. Akintoye was also elected 1st Deputy President of REDAN in Abuja.

Due to his passion and drive for Nigeria’s real estate industry, he achieved the goal of empowerment by engaging in a variety of leadership courses and programs, both domestically and overseas.

As President of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN), Barr. Akintoye brings a wealth of experience to the role, having held positions in the property industry in Design, Construction, Property Development, and Asset Management. He is also highly effective as an administrator and is fueled by dedication and devotion to his field of expertise.

Akintoye has actively sought out further training opportunities throughout his career, realising the value of ongoing professional development.

He received his training at the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies in Kuru, Jos, where he gained insightful knowledge about developing policies and making strategic decisions. In addition, he enhanced his business abilities by taking part in programmes at the Lagos Business School, Pan African University, Lagos, Nigeria, such as the Owners Managers Programme (OMP2) and the Chief Executive Programme (CEP 18).

To further demonstrate his dedication to alternative dispute resolution, Akintoye has also enrolled in specialised mediation trainings at the Lagos Multi-door Court House. To further expand his knowledge in business management, he also studied an Advanced Management Programme at the University of Navara Business School in Barcelona, Spain.

Additionally, His professional knowledge and global perspective have been further enhanced by attending seminars and workshops in different countries around the world including :  the United States, the United Kingdom, China, India, Ghana, Spain, and Uganda.

Motivated by a strong sense of commitment anf dedication to his career, Akintoye is a member of several prestigious associations, including the International Bar Association, the Nigerian Bar Association, the Lagos Multi Door Court Neutrals, and the Chartered Institute of Housing (UK) and of course , The Real Estate Developers Association Of Nigeria, (REDAN).

Akintoye Adeoye, a distinguished individual with a wide range of educational backgrounds, extensive training, and active organisational affiliations, is a well-rounded expert in a variety of disciplines including business, theology, housing, law, and mediation.
At the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria,  (REDAN) He is the  president and chairman Of Council.
