The third Vice-President of the Nigerian Institute of Architects, Arc. Chioma Nwaogwu Ogbonna today commended the African International Housing Show (AIHS) for making giant strides in the Nigerian built industry.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the event, its 16th edition, Ogbonna also added that the NIA has always believed in what the AIHS aims to achieve in developing the Nigerian built industry, thereby, curtailing an already existing housing deficit in the country, projected to be at 22 million.

“NIA has been a partner with the African International Housing Show and always believed in what the AIHS will and has done, she said.

“We appreciate the giant strides you have made in the Nigerian built environment and the construction industry. We are proud to associate with you”, she concluded.
