The Sokoto state central market has been gutted by fire

It was learnt, that the fire started at about 7am and is still razzing. Sources have it that the fire was caused by a generator set at at Kofar Yan Roba.

We can see that the federal and State fire services are currently trying to put an end to the fire which has already destroyed many shops and properties.
