Nasarawa state Governor, Engr. Abudullahi Sule has inaugurated the construction of the Nasarawa Technology Village aimed at boosting technical ideology in the state. He said said it was in line with his administration’s development roadmap in the area of housing, technology, employment and industrialization.
While inaugurating the technology village yesterday at Aso Pada, Karu Local Government Area of the state and promising to ensure strict monitoring of the project for effectiveness, Sule said the N30 billion project which comprised of 1,962 housing units estate, technology hub and other facilities are planned to be executed in collaboration with an indigenous firm, ABS Blueprint Consortium, under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) scheme.
The governor expressed delight with the project being executed by an indigenous consortium, saying it was in line with his administration’s vision of development of the people and the state.
He added that the state government will through investors, construct a road that will link the estate, away from the usual gridlock in the area.
